These updates will take effect starting October 16th, 2024, and will impact a range of popular products, including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management.

What You Need to Know

Atlassian is making several changes that could affect your current pricing and plans:

  • Price increases across a variety of Atlassian Cloud products (details below)

  • Advantaged Pricing adjustments, with many products reaching the standard list price

  • Feature updates for Jira Service Management (JSM) plans

Products Impacted by the Price Increase

Here’s a summary of the products and the price increases you can expect:

  • Jira and Confluence:

    • Standard: 5% increase

    • Premium: 6–10% increase

    • Enterprise: 10% increase

  • Jira Service Management:

    • Standard, Premium, and Enterprise (1–250 users): 8% increase

    • Standard, Premium, and Enterprise (251+ users): 20% increase

For customers benefiting from Advantaged Pricing—a model that provides special long-term pricing—most of these products will move closer to the list price.

What’s Changing for Jira Service Management (JSM)?

In addition to the pricing adjustments, some key features of Jira Service Management will now be exclusive to Premium and Enterprise plans. This includes several core incident, problem, and change management features. The pricing for Assets, objects, and Virtual Service Agents will also change. If your organization relies on these tools, it’s a great time to evaluate whether upgrading to a higher-tier plan would be more beneficial.
